Welcome to the PBD website! I’m L.C. Rogers.  I am a Maryland native, and the fifth and youngest child born to Joseph and Grace Rogers .

Growing up, money was pretty tight for my parents. After all, I was their fifth child, and my mom was still only twenty two years old at the time I was born. Therefore, when it came to entertaining us they had to get creative.  My father was particularly good at this. On long car rides he’d pass the time by telling us spectacular stories that he made up on the spot. I believe these are the moments that sparked my imagination and birthed the writer I am today. 

I was first published in the school newspaper when I was just eight years old. I wrote a short story called, “God Bless Spotty.” After that, I was hooked! I have since went on to author hundreds of poems, which I’ve had the pleasure to perform many of them live. 

I’ve also published two award winning book series, with now eight books, and counting!

The “Pocketbook Diaries” series is the newest and most exciting work I’ve ever penned! And to think, it came about because of a conversation I had with my nine-year-old niece, and a fantastical dream that followed it. I look forward to taking you through the spectacular world of Aphrodan where both danger, secrets, and love awaits!
